Christine Yi
(H2Opportunity 2009, Georgia Institute of Technology)
Christine graduated from the Academy of Math, Science and Technology at
Kennesaw Mountain High School. During the 2009 spring semester, she
performed an internship with GAWP and performed research on issues
surrounding drinking water quality. She will attend Georgia Institute
of Technology where she plans to major in Environmental Engineering and
minor in Spanish. She hopes to pursue a career in the water industry
where she can work in the United States and also abroad.
William Daniel Parks
(H2Opportunity 2008, Athens Technical College)
Daniel Parks is a 2008 graduate of Apalachee High School. He has worked at the Shoal Creek Filter Plant for Gwinnett County Department of Water Resources gaining hands-on experience in the operation and maintenance of water treatment plant equipment. He will enroll this Fall at Athens Technical College to pursue a degree in Industrial Technology and Maintenance, and ultimately an Electrical Engineering degree. He plans to pursue a career in the field of fresh water production.

Bradley Waller
(H2Opportunity 2008, Southern Polytechnic State University)
Brad will be a senior at Southern Polytechnic State University this Fall where he is working towards a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Technology with an emphasis on water treatment. He has spent the last two Summers working for a construction firm at a wastewater treatment plant, and hopes to pursue a career designing water treatment plants.
